Sarah Hopkins
Associate Trustee
Originally from the Manawatu, Sarah attended Massey University in Palmerston North where she graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy, later to become a Chartered Accountant and obtain a Certificate in Public Practice.
Sarah now resides in Invercargill where she works as an Associate. Her role involves managing a rural client base made up of dairy, sheep and beef clients mainly located around Southland and Otago. Sarah firmly believes that being an accountant is about more than simply crunching numbers; it’s about providing comprehensive support to her clients, helping them to achieve their business goals, and offering a listening ear when they need it. Through this role she has gained extensive experience in working with clients who are at various stages of their career and has worked on opportunities with them or supported these clients when things have not been so easy or gone to plan. She brings a personal approach to her role becoming a trusted advisor to those around her.
During her free time, she enjoys travelling internationally to new places and playing both social and competitive netball while serving as the Treasurer for St Mary’s Netball Club.
